Indiana Jones Adventure is CLOSED. Reopens November 30, 2026. Not available for this visit.

PA Rules: Buy one ride PA at a time. Can buy the next after 1 hour or when your current slot starts (whichever is first). You CAN hold one ride PA + one show PA simultaneously. Suica does NOT work for PA, credit card only.

The Day - Ride by Ride

06:30 Wake + Go

Light konbini breakfast (eat on the train). Comfortable shoes, rain shells, portable charger. Leave villa at 07:15.

07:15 Travel to DisneySea

Option A: Direct Highway Bus (recommended)

No transfers. No underground walks. Everyone sits together.
JR Highway Bus from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal (New South Exit). Buses every 20 min from 06:40 to 09:50. Goes direct to DisneySea gate. ~60 min.

07:15	Walk to Shinjuku Station south exit (~10 min from villa)
07:20	Buy tickets at JR Highway Bus Terminal (Suica accepted)
07:40	Board bus (catch the ~07:40 departure)
09:10	Arrive DisneySea gate (allow traffic buffer)

Cost: ¥1,000 per person, ¥4,000 family. Pay with Suica.

The bus drops you right at the DisneySea entrance. No monorail transfer needed. With 2 kids and a 6:30am wake-up, sitting on a bus beats navigating 3 trains + a 15-minute underground walk at Tokyo Station.

Option B: Train (faster if bus traffic is bad)

08:40	Maihama → DisneySea (Disney Resort monorail, ~10 min)

Cost: ¥700 per person (¥440 JR + ¥260 monorail), ¥2,800 family. Pay with Suica.

Tokyo Station transfer warning: The Keiyo Line platform is on the 4th basement floor, several hundred metres south of the main station. The underground walk takes 10-15 minutes via moving walkways. Follow the orange Keiyo Line signs. Don't panic if it feels like you're walking forever. With kids, allow 15 min.

Option C: Taxi (easiest, most expensive)

Door to door. Zero transfers. Kids can sleep in the car.
Hail on the street outside the villa or use the GO app (Japan's Uber). Tell the driver "DisneySea onegaishimasu" or show the address on your phone.

Per person cost: ¥1,750-2,500 (family of 4). Only ¥750 more per person than the bus, and you save 15-20 min.

Return trip (evening)

Buses run from DisneySea back to Shinjuku in the evenings only. Train is the reverse route. Or grab a taxi at the DisneySea taxi rank (~¥7,000-10,000 back). After a 12-hour day with two tired kids, the taxi home is worth every yen.

09:00 GATES OPEN - The Critical 60 Seconds

Thien's phone, app open, finger ready. PA is tied to the ticket group — you can only buy one ride PA at a time across both phones. Tran's phone is backup only.

09:00:00 - BUY PA #1: Frozen Journey (¥2,500 pp). Select the earliest time slot.
If Frozen is sold out, buy Soaring instead.

While buying PA, the whole family walks briskly toward Fantasy Springs (10-12 min walk to the back of the park).

09:10 Fantasy Springs Rope Drop (free!)

Peter Pan's Neverland Adventure ROPE DROP

15-20 min wait. Go here FIRST while everyone else queues Frozen. You have PA for Frozen later.

Rapunzel's Lantern Festival ROPE DROP

20-25 min wait. Beautiful boat ride. Right next to Peter Pan.

You just saved ¥16,000 by rope-dropping these instead of buying PA.

10:00 Buy PA #2: Soaring + Mysterious Island

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea STANDBY

10-15 min wait. Submarine ride, always short queue. No PA available. Aivy will love it.

5-10 min PA queue. 15 min boat ride through Arendelle. Worth every yen.

11:00 - Buy PA #3: Journey to the Center of the Earth (¥2,000 pp)

Soaring: Fantastic Flight PREMIER ACCESS

5-10 min PA queue. Hang-glider over world landmarks. The Tokyo finale gives everyone goosebumps.

11:45 Lunch (eat early, skip the rush)

Mobile order in the app for 12:00 pickup. Pay with Suica.

12:00 - Buy PA #4: Toy Story Mania! (¥2,000 pp)

Journey to the Center of the Earth PREMIER ACCESS

5-10 min PA queue. DisneySea's signature ride. Dark, fast, volcanic eruption finale. Aivy may find last 3 seconds scary (brief).

Toy Story Mania! PREMIER ACCESS

5-10 min PA queue. Midway shooting game. Both kids will compete for top score.

Tower of Terror STANDBY 35-45 min

Height requirement: 102 cm (no age limit). Aivy is almost certainly tall enough.
If Aivy is up for it: whole family rides together.
If she doesn't want to: Thien + Loc ride, Tran + Aivy do Turtle Talk with Crush (show, same area, ~25 min). It's a dark drop ride so no pressure either way.

14:15 Arabian Coast + Mermaid Lagoon (cool down)

Both areas partially/fully indoor. Perfect for afternoon energy dip.

Sindbad's Storybook Voyage WALK-ON

5-10 min. Gentle boat ride, gorgeous music. Aivy's favourite.

Magic Lamp Theater NEXT SHOW

~20 min wait. 3D show, sit-down, air-conditioned. Good rest break.

Mermaid Lagoon (indoor play area)

No queue. Blowfish Balloon Race, Jumping Jellyfish. Loc can do Flounder's coaster. All indoor, air-con.

Snack stop: Curry Popcorn (legendary) + Seashell Ice Cream

15:00 Lost River Delta + Mediterranean

Raging Spirits STANDBY 25-35 min

360-degree loop coaster. Short but intense. Loc will want to re-ride.

Aquatopia STANDBY 10-15 min

Trackless water vehicle. Fun and unpredictable.

Venetian Gondolas STANDBY 15-20 min

Relaxing gondola through the canals. Great photos.

Fortress Explorations

Walk-in, no queue. Cannons, telescopes, hidden rooms. 20-30 min.

☐ Check: did you buy N'EX Round Trip Tickets on arrival day? If yes, Friday's Narita train is already paid for. If no, buy one-way NEX at Shinjuku on Fri morning (¥3,250 pp)
☐ Charge both phones to 100%
☐ Pack portable charger
☐ Set 55-min repeating alarm for 09:00 tomorrow

Next Day: Friday 25 Sep - Departure

Flight: TR867 departs Narita T1 at 12:30. Scoot check-in closes 12:00. Leave Shinjuku by 08:05.

NEX tickets: If you bought the N'EX Round Trip Ticket (¥5,200/adult, ¥2,600/child) on arrival day at Narita, the return leg is already paid. Just reserve the 08:05 seats at the JR counter. If you didn't buy round trips, one-way is ¥3,250 per adult (¥13,000 family of 4 all-adult).

Shin-Okubo → Shinjuku (Suica, ¥155 pp) to reach the NEX platform. Do the Suica refund and NEX ticket in one stop at the JR counter.
